This form accompanies annual dues remittance and, for new members, the Kauka Membership Application.
Ahahui o na Kauka accepts its role as kuaana, or older sibling, to those currently in training. To encourage this mentor relationship, Kauka Hui coordinates service and social events, and supports activities that promote student success in medical school.
Students in a program studying allopathic or osteopathic medicine, and are descended from ancestors who inhabited the Hawaiian islands prior to 1778, are eligible to participate in Kauka Haumana activities. Attending medical school in Hawai`i is not mandatory.
There is no fee to participate in most Kauka Haumana activities.
